since you've been gone................

what a very very long time since i last had a post....

i have a new son now.. 3months old... (been keeping us busy...)

i have a new job as well....(keeping me equally busy as well...)

my mum passed away on jan2

i have a new house as well, bought but not moved in yet...
and at one point we were owning 2 houses :-)

dont be a hero..

Tried to eat oats with soy sauce and sausages last night. didnt work for me. i nearly puked but theson seemed to love it. I've eaten oats with milk and sugar all my life so now my body seems to reject it if i have it with anything salty.

Theson woke up at 4am today asking to go to school. School has been closed for a week due to HFM so it looks like he misses school. Funny.

Thewife not feeling so good but was still on night shift this week. she had insomnia after the 1st night so she had to come back home 1/2 way thru her 2nd night. cravings are starting.

A pair of swallows have made a home on the piping of the aircon in the 2nd room.

Theson is a chip of the old block.. Like me he can also survive on mash taters and spaghetti..
but he also still needs rice as seen last week when he requested to go to thebabysitters place to eat rice and soup. this after only 2 days of non-rice diet over the weekend. :-)

kaboom

The bridge was closed for more than 3hours yesterday due to a bomb scare.
traffic was gridlocked on both ends of the bridge.
on days like this I’m glad I don’t travel the bridge daily.
Is this a sign from god telling us to stay on the island?

Very smooth traffic during CNY. It was like a Sunday drive everyday…
Got to wake up a bit later than usual to start the day. even theson woke up late.
My sis is back for 5days. She bought some Layer-cake from Indonesia. Taste ok.
The office is at 10% capacity and there is no one bothering me.
Enjoyed meeting up with relative and friends.

There are a lot of irritating cars on the island from other states with A, W, B, J, N plates…..
Thewifes chocolate chip cookies are finished. what will sustain me now?
The avril-eragon song is starting to get to me. they have been playing it non-stop on the radio.
Canteen food is at its extreme low.
i have 2 technical papers to write that i have not started on yet.
