the last 2 weeks.

work at the office the last 2 weeks has been insane. multi tasking like crazy and i'm not even sure when i lost my focus. so many things that could go wrong did go wrong and i'm busting my butt trying to band-aid everything together.
my boss keeps telling me that he appreciates all the work i'm doing but i need to also "exercise" the other people around me. eer, what??!!??
anyway, think i'm actually going to be sick due to being overworked. will know in a day or too.

thewife is working tonight and tomorrow as well and i've got theson to look after. only worried about him drinking his milk. normally he doesnt drink much when alone with me. guess he misses his mum.

i miss thewife too. alot. a real whole lot. sigh. sacrifices.

its also confirmed that thesons back teeth are coming out, whic is why hes not eating so well. practically ona fluid and vegetable diet.

3/4 through clear and present danger. shud be done soon.
have put a hold on commanding mechs for a while and moved on to commanding force talon due to an act or war. the tanks and choppers are cool.

diet again

theson is getting moody and difficult about his food these few days. yesterday he refused to eat his rice and thebabysitter had to go buy noodles for him to eat. it seems he was pretty happy when he saw the noodles.
well, mybe hes bored of the food hes been eating these past 2 years. maybe we should change his milk formula as well. well, he did wean himself off everything else. but what else is there to eat?
thewife says that i have less patience with my own son than with other kids. maybe shes right, i am too hard on him. maybe i just expect more of him ( or from thewife, or theSIS.....
But, he IS just 26mths old kid.
i need to change. will focus on my patience.

I’ve got 4 friends getting married this year..
Already invited to 2 of them. Hopefully I can attend, unlike the last 4 wedding dinner’s we had to skip because of theson. He was sick for all of them….
We attended a church wedding where we were witnesses though..

I’m always amazed when I think back about how we pulled off our own wedding.
Took us 6weeks to get everything done from start to finish. from foolsday til d-day.
Quite a miracle we pulled off… but we could not have been able to do it without him… yes, him.
The big man…God.

Don’t know why other people always make a fuss about planning and executing a wedding… sheesh…

the siege is over

managed to kill valdis in kalrathia to end the 2nd dungeonsiege.. this was a week ago and it was pretty easy. ending was boring and anticlimactic. but the team i had was well oiled. quite powerful and experienced. everybody was a level40++, 2 knights & the 2 archers.

i'm commading some merc mechs now, with longshot and dagger as lead pilots. This is the 3rd time I’m working with them again.

Now I’m anticipating waging war with the empire on the millennium falcon and also running the gauntlet with lara croft again.
soon i hope... and i need to find the time as well..
Uninstalled everything else that I did not use/need to make more space on my harddrive. 33% empty now..

Valentines days today.. I kept it simple.
Bought thewife her favourite icecream.. a box of lime + vanilla popsicle..
We both read & slept the whole afternoon yesterday. She definitely needs her rest since she started her new job.And taking care of theson also uses up a lot of energy.

clear and present danger moving along nicely. I’m now at page 200++..

state of denial

Finally gave up on reading state of fear.. could not get past page100..
i've been lying to myself that i could finish it but i'm just not in the mood for crichton now.
i've switched to clear and present danger now before I attempt to read it again.

A friend of mine lent me a few fantasy book as well and I’ve finished those already… all of them trilogies…sigh.. and all incomplete..

Some can be classified as teen fantasy and the stories aren’t really that original though but it kept me occupied. The djinni book was quite funny though.
And now I’m itching to finished up the other remaining books. But my friend does not have the remaining books yet.
Sooooo, I’m thinking of buying them myself instead.. going book hunting soon then..
and they’re tax deductible…

no rain

Was driving home from work today in my chevy to pick up theson from thebabysitters house when blindmelon’s no rain came on.. Do you remember blindmelon?

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain

getting old

want to know how i know that i'm getting old? i fall asleep watching action movies likes the legend of zorro. or maybe my taste has matured.
i keep getting irritated watching shows that have 100% action but 0% story value. take zorro for instance. cliche after cliche after cliche... *yaaaaawn*...
let me watch the appendices for return of the king instead.
maybe i complain too much.

friends

its actually been a while that i actually went out with any of my old friends.
its actually been a while that i actually called any of my old friends.
i sent christmas cards though.
but thewife's logic is that they shud also try to call me right?
we've actually become quite anti-social after theson was born. we always say that we're too tired or we're too busy... or theson is sick... :-)
i recall skipping a few wedding s as well.

maybe i shud call them out for lunch one of these days. i wonder if they still remember me?

tired as hell

CNY swept thru like a hurricane. i definitely need a holiday for my holiday. feeing really worn out after all the visiting, eating and endless driving. estimated i wasted 3-4hours of my life stuck in traffic jams over a period of 2 days.

thewife was tired out as well and theson was very happy to be eating food other than his normal staple diet. he was practically asking for cookies every other day. the CNY steamboat was a hit but we actually had tons of food leftover. thewife made her famous "leftover soup" and that was also cleaned up by my parents, thebabysitter and thewife..

we actually missed visiting a few houses as we did not have enough time. am going to try to cover those folks soon, i hope..

back to work and swamped again... so whats new , right?
