i ask myself..

i dont smoke, i dont drink, i dont womanize, i dont party on weekends.
do i need to get a life?

i play RPGs and RTSs and read a lot of novels. i can sit and watch tv all day.
am i wasting my time?

i dont like football and i do seem to have more woman friends than guy friends though.
is that strange?

so maybe i'm a bit lazy at times and i need to help around the house more but i need some "downtime" as well. right?
need to be cut some slack.

live to eat

thewife has been working nights the last week and everytime shes on night, i put on weight.
why? because i have free rein over the kitchen.
my specialty? well, scrambled eggs with cheese,instant noodles and french toast with peanut butter&honey. aah this is the life..
other than that i'm eating economy rice with "mystery meat & everything", buns, donuts, rotiboys,
looking forward to making mash taters and pancakes but i'm just lazy..
thewife made spicy thaitomyam noodles yesterday. very yummy and had 3 ..eer...small helpings.

crisis mode:off

plagued by data issues for the last 4-5 weeks. stress levels at 300%.
some issues closed last week and luckily i had thepooh to help me the last few weeks doing manual restorations. data looking better and management is happier.
i still have a long way to go before i'm done tying up all the loose ends. i hope it doesnt take too long.. i'm very, very tired.

war is over

finished act of war on sunday 600am and sleep deprived.. but it was worth it. rained missiles down on washington to clean out the terrorists. finished 2/3 of pendergast trilogy well.
now reading 2/3 of the black magician. i'm amazed that i have time to read as well.

go fly a kite

took theson and thewife kite flying yesterday. theson had a early nap and late lunch so we went out at 3pm to the island jetty near the coastal road. we werent the only only flying kites. there were at least 4 other kites up as well. the last time we flew kites was when thewife and i were still dating. its been that long. both our kites went up pretty fast and theson seem to really like it. going back next week.

never learn

pissed off thewife again on saturday. it was after her night shift and we were coming home from grocery shopping and i said some insensitive things. i'm always sad when i make her feel sad. she will never stay angry at me long though. well, no matter how insensitive i am , i love her to death.
