catch up
So much homework and so little time. Piling up.
To add to that, his tuition work, maths work, kidz work.
Damage control and recovery planned for cny.
I pity him.
Its also supposed to be the dry season but its actually been raining the past few days.
Supposed to be scorched earth but the evenings are wet.
And i've actually been wanting it to rain so i'm not complaining.
So rain due to Global warming or law of attraction?
Wife votes option #1, I vote the 2nd one :-)
I seemed to have retired on from the facebook updates and twitter feed updates.
I think I will still update from time to time but I rather blog.
Though I still do find time to read other people facebook or twitter statuses, when I’m “thinking”.
Its got your usual hindi fare of romantic+comedy, drama+tears, song+dance.
Whats not to like?
Aal iz wel...
Anyway, i opened the box and the actual 2 boxes of lego police motorcycles were still luckily there, albeit the boxes were also slighty crushed on one side as well.
I opened the lego boxes just to make sure the lego was not broken, which they weren't.
Jeez, i'm pretty sure the box was opened intentionally.
'Crucio' to whomever opened my box..
I'm just sitting in the back of the maths class for 1 hour and already i want to strangle a few.
#1 is dreaming. Sigh...
Yesterday, we ate chicken curry with 2 loaves of wholemeal bengkali roti, given by a friend.
The bread was from the fridge and I suggested to steam it.
And as it turned out, steaming it was a great idea after al.
The bread was made moist and soft again.
And tasted great with the excellent curry chicken.
Now I know why they steam hotdog buns.
I’m amazed at the Toyota customer service.
Dropped my car off at 815am.
In the lounge at 825am.
Laptop setup by 830am. (with help from the coffee lady.. really!)
Coffee on my table at 833am.
Logged in vpn by 835am.
Now my deleting email work has begun.
Hope I can get out of here by 10 or 1030am.
I seemed to have obtained an affinity for soy based soft serve ice cream
(.. its actually quite yummy, definitely good for those with lactose intolerance..)
And also for instant cup “mee goreng”
(.. yes its quite unhealthy, which is why I just bought only 2 cups. I discovered this accidentally during one of the hospitals stays..)
Also we’ve discovered a new wan tan mee shop…
and a new pan mee place…
I write about it all in good time….
If I hv it..
OMG, I’m a “Non-Resident Alien”
I was filling up some non-us tax form and that’s what they called me.
Not sure if I should be insulted or just plain amazed at their verbiage.
#2 started coughing yesterday. We hv to assume he caught it from the kindy. So he slept in my bed, #1 slept alone and i had to go pacify him a few times last night as well. Luckily its a holiday today.
Now #1 is doing his dreaded homework and #2 is jumping around mimicking a kangaroo.
And the scent of chicken curry is wafting through the air, i think.
:-)
That leaves me to clean up the stuff in the sink and put somemore kids clothes to wash, which should only be done by 12+am and which needs to be hung out to dry.
Both are in bed now, waiting to fall asleep. And i can hear them playing with their transformers in the dark.
Boys, i really hope you both really appreciate what me and your mother are doing for you boys everyday.
We toil at work and at home.
You're also most probably asking, why am i even looking to buy toys?
I've always found the transformers toys to be puzzles of sorts. Well thats my rationale.
Some are actually quite complicated to transform. I've got a few deluxe class, sideswipe, jazz, ironhide and bumblebee. All are movie versions and look nice in both robot and vehicle mode. They all have instruction manuals. I kid you not.
But i'm always hesitant to break them out of their boxes once i've got them. I'm weird like that.
I've actually got a few of the above, still mint in a sealed box. Maybe they'll be worth something someday on ebay.
I've even got a boba fett.
I bought a few legends class as well for the kids to play. There are much easier to transform. It started when #1 was admitted to the hospital a few years back and i gave one to him to pacify him. So far there's g1 jazz, hound, bumblebee, animated optimus.
All of them are very used. These days toys are made with ball joints so a dislocated limb or head can be fixed easily. :-)
They woke up at 10am yesterday, but, today, sunday, i can hear the kids at 745am from their room.

More sage advice for you boys:
When you’ve tried and tried and its just not working out, sometimes you need to know when to stop.
If it’s not yours, it not yours.
Don’t force it. It just gets ugly after a while.
If it’s not meant to be, it’s just not meant to be.
LET IT GO.
Seeing another person lose it and scratch out of control in a meeting is unbearable as well.
And I totally understand how they must feel and i can really understand their pain and relate. It also shows that my level of constraint has been quite high.
So far, i've never had a scratch fit in a meeting and i don't intend too. Must maintain control.
Its was interesting to say the least though we had a bit of reservation abt someone who cooked the chilli prawns and curious why another one took so long to cook eggs.
Ended the night with a bottle of wine, which i'm still feeling the effects from. Skin wise i mean.
And most importantly, we had adult conversation.
Lets do this again soon.
Thewife's arm is still in ergo-trouble so i'm more than willing to chip in. She's straddling the hot water bottle to her more than me :-)
My eczema seems to be improving though. Due to my change in diet during these 'trying' Times or just due to the numbness of my whole being or maybe just being away from work? Or the workplace? Hmmm...
Was home from the hospital yesterday at 1230pm+
Unpacked all 4 bags, vacuumed and mopped both floors, bathed #1, took a bath by230pm
and out of the house by 240pm for my meeting.
Tired.
When either of them were in the hospital , they were very brotherly lovey dovey over the phone..
When both of them were home together finally, all hell broke loose.
Kicking , screaming, punching, shouting.
WWIII.
Jeez…monkeys..!!!
I'm now going to lie down and do nothing for a while.
Nearly 3weeks since #2 was admitted, now we're back with #1. Again !!! The cleaner recognized us :)
And Its so much harder since we've got no extended family to help us out. Previously, the old babysitter will help out to babysit the day and even nights. Well, no more. she had that as her plus-side.
This time i dropped #2 with my dad and my 80yr old aunt while we got #1 admitted. Anyway, Looks like they could handle him. He was talking to my aunt and munching on cream crackers when i got back an hour later.
So now, she's with #1 and i'm with #2.
This cycle has to end sooner or later.
It will end.
He's just as stubborn as me. I need to find a way to get thru to him.
