new house

in the new houe for close to 1 month already
and we have sooooooo much space now...
2 whole floors.
its a major chalenge to get it cleaned.
luckily we hv our 2 trusty roombas, r1 and r2..
r2..get it? hehehe... small star wars joke...

anyway, our saturdays are very packed..
clean house, (part time maid comes biweekly to iron, clean windows, etc....)
take care of thebaby..
send theson to his classes..
thewife goes marketing and then she cooks..
do our errands that didnt get done on the weekdays..
continue to unpack our multitude of boxes..
thewifes mandarin classes.. (so that shes on par with theson once he starts primary school)
sleep..
visit inlaws or my dad/aunts (alternate weekends..)

sigh.....
weekends are more tiring than weekdays...............

We’ve done the unthinkable.
We saw a house.
We liked the house
We're buying the house.
And its freakin….. >half a million dollars….
(that like 200k more than our original estimate/budget)
It’s a real stretch on our budget but i know we can pull through it.

we just need to be "leaner" the next few years and sacrifice more.
Its a 3000sqft, 2storey semi detached, there are 3 rooms upstairs, 2 toilets and quite a big common area. there is a separate living room, dinign room , dry kitchen, wet kitchen and a guest bedroom with toilet attached. ther si also a garden of arounf 8 to 10ft wide.

bank and lawyer has been engaged and we are waiting to sign all the necessary documents.
as usual the lawyers "move" pretty slow and we are being patient.
